Harold Eugene Turner

Harold Eugene Turner was born April 6, 1940 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, he passed into eternal life on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father, Luther Kirksey Turner; his mother, Gussie Lorraine Turner; brother, James E. Turner and daughter, Kelli Ann Corrotto. He is survived by his wife, Sarah, three daughters, Lori Turner, Kristi Turner and Karen Kremers, six grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren.

Today, we celebrate the life of a devoted husband, father, grandfather, preacher, and friend whose faith in God was the foundation of everything he did. He dedicated his life to serving the Lord, loving his family, and leading others with compassion, wisdom, and grace.

His beloved wife was the absolute love of his life. He adored her wholeheartedly, cherished her every day, and placed her on a pedestal. Their love was a beautiful example of unwavering devotion and respect that inspired everyone who knew them.

He was a strong-willed man with a kind heart, known for his wit, encouragement, and genuine love for people. He had a remarkable gift for listening, making others feel seen and valued, and could tell a story with incredible detail that captivated everyone around him. He never stopped learning and inspired countless lives through his faith, wisdom, and example.

His greatest legacy is the love he poured into the Word of God, his family, and everyone blessed to know him. Though he will be deeply missed, his faith, kindness, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Friday, July 31 at the Northside Church of Christ under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood with inurnment at Liberty Cemetery.
