James G. Browning, 88, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a welder, member of Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Barling and United States Navy veteran.
He is survived by his children, Paul Browning and wife, Kim of Morrilton and Ann Marie Hester and husband, Gary of Greenwood; daughter-in-law, Tammy Browning of Conway; five grandsons, two granddaughters; thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Browning; parents, George and Azzie (Price) Browning; son, Robert Browning and twelve siblings.
Private funeral service will be Friday, September 15 in McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, Arkansas with interment in Sacred Heart of Mary Cemetery in Barling.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Browning, Shane Browning, Joshua Browning, Joseph Browning, Paul Browning and Katelyn Lomax.
