  I just want to say that  the last time I got to see you was the day of your grandfathers funeral. You were very undecisive about even going because it was so very hard on you. You looked very nice that day. I said " whew look at that booty in those pants"  … lmao..   you grinned so big and   Deborah got so mad at me I thought she was going to kick my butt!!! I could see the pain in your eyes that day. I suppose I was just trying to lift your mood. Anyway, I wish I could lift moods of your family and friends that are mourning your loss today. I promise to always be here for Deborah and Emmett. I love them both very much.  I don't know if I ever thanked you for working on my lawnmower .. so thank you. You will be missed. Even though we didn't know each other real well I seen the way Emmett looked at you!!! I know just how special you are.  RIP JAMES DEGNAN      YOU WILL BE MISSED
 

I remember when I first met you it seems like it was only yesterday. We didn’t have much time together but what we shared meant the world to me,I love you JJ always have,I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you and your mom. I know we’ll see each other again till that day comes Aloha My  Beloved Grandson.

As I sit here struggling to find words that will help my heart to understand what my mind simply refuses to believe ... and although there is/was  such a great distance that physically separated us, please know that I carry ... we carry .. that your entire Hawaiian Ohana carries you not only in our Thoughts & Prayers but  especially in our Hearts 💞 ... 
Hopefully with time, everyone’s hurt will lessen and we’ll be able to  build some kind of bond/connection with the family you have there, including your Boys’ ...
