James “Jimmy” Griffin, 60, of Fayetteville, Arkansas passed away Monday, May 11, 2026 in Springdale. He was born July 2, 1965 in Greenville, South Carolina to James Ronald, Sr. and Dale (Harris) Griffin. He was employed by Winnelson, he was a Bronco Buster and loved riding his Harley.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Griffin; one son, Jonathan Griffin (Cassidy); two step-sons, Aron (Alicia) and Timothy (Amanda) Shelton; one daughter, Elizabeth (G.W.) Bently; one step-daughter, Linzie (Matt) Harrell and seven grandchildren, Taylor, Hadleigh, Abigail, Scarlett, Ella Grace, Grady and MacKenzie. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Lydia Burch.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Thursday, May 21 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Douglass Cemetery in Jenny Lind. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Dayton Parker, Travis Ames, Taylor Griggs, Jacob Savin, G.W. Bently and Lewis “Ghost” Hagard.
