Janet L. Hankammer Strunk

Janet L. Strunk, 61, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011 in a Fort Smith hospital. She was born June 25, 1950 at Hamilton AFB in California to Robert Wise Hankammer and Marie Louise (Tucker) Hankammer.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 28, 2011 at the McConnell Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home.

Survivors include her husband, Billie A. Strunk of the home; a son, Nicholas Strunk and his wife, Maria, of Fort Smith; a daughter, Julie Strunk Brown and her husband, Johnny, of Greenwood; two brothers, Donald Hankammer of Phoenix, AZ and Warren Hankammer of Fort Worth, TX; and four grandchildren, Michaela Billy, Jordan Robinson, Hope Myers, and Natosha Brown.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Brown, Nick Strunk, Grant Casey, Richard McGee, Glenn Billy, Jeremy Strunk, Keith Brixey, Jacob Fullen and Andrew Gonzales.

Viewing will be from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, June 27th at the funeral home where the family will visit with friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.
