Jeffrey Treshnell

Jeffrey S. Treshnell, 55 of Greenwood, AR passed away on November 3, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born December 2, 1960 in Marin County, California. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother. He was a graduate of the University of Missouri, Rolla. He retired from ArcBest Technologies after 32 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Fort Smith Seventh-day Adventist Church where he served as a deacon and former school board chairman of the Seventh-day Adventist Church School. He enjoyed serving the Lord, family trips, astronomy and hiking.

Survivors include Lea Treshnell, wife of 30 years, one son, Nicholas (Nico) Treshnell of the home, father, Stanley Treshnell of Petaluma, CA, two brothers, David Treshnell and Lisa of San Rafael, CA and Noah Treshnell and Amber of San Francisco, CA and step-mother Dee Treshnell of Mill Valley, CA, and mother-in-law, Joyce Hilton of Greenwood, and Aunt Margaret Hendricks Adams, of Kansas City, MO, as well as other family, cousins, nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his mother, Myrna Hendricks Treshnell Johnson and step-father, Arthur M. Johnson.

Funeral service will be Friday, November 11th at 2:00 at the Fort Smith Seventh-day Adventist Church. Visitation will be at 1:00 on Friday at the Church before the service. Burial will be at Oak Cemetery, Fort Smith, AR. Arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Ron Johnson, Scott James, Lee Easley, Colby Morgan, Kerry Strickland and Luke Jones. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Greenwood, Dr. Paul Howell, Darrell Matlock and Bob Rogers.
