Jesse Race Shibley

Jesse Race Shibley, 64, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Monday, March 3, 2025 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born September 23, 1960 in Riverside, California to George “Dub” and Audrey (Ashworth) Shibley. He was a retired welder, member of the Jenny Lind Masonic Lodge, Widows Sons Motorcycle Club and the Greenwood First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Peggy Shibley; one son, Coltney Shibley and wife, Allyce of Greenwood; three daughters, Brittney Shibley of Greenwood, Amber Carter and husband, Cody Keller of Fort Smith and Krystal McGuire and husband, Mark of Poteau, OK; six brothers, Dwayne Shibley and wife, Sueann, Bucky Shibley, Jim Shibley and wife, Debbie, James Gray and wife, Shaunda, Frank Noland and wife, Angie and Walter Shibley and wife, Juanita; three sisters, Mary Peugh and husband, Bud, Jody Benoit and husband, Billy and Brenda Frederiksen and husband, Jerry; sister-in-law, Kim Shibley; seven grandchildren, Sylvia Shibley, Camden Carter, Corbyn Carter, Heidi McGuire, Halle McGuire, Cameron Keller and Ezra Keller and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Shibley.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
