Obituary of Jim E. Smith

McConnell Funeral Home

Jim E. Smith, 86, of Mansfield, Arkansas passed away Friday, July 13, 2018 in Fort Smith. He was a retired owner of Smitty’s Electrical Service.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 16 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Witcherville with interment at Steep Hill Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Viewing will Sunday from1-5 pm at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 2-4 pm.

He is survived by a son, Kenneth Smith of Greenwood; a daughter, Karen Davis of Fort Smith; two sisters, Margaret Cook and Myrle Dean Kerr of Fort Smith; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Carl Nichols, Raymond Smith, Troy Smith, Matthew Smith, Scott Smith and Virgil Taylor. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim’s nephews.
