John Thomas “Teeny” Coleman, 87, of Washburn, died Tuesday, August 7, 2012 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired from Gerber, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and World War II, and a member of the Greenwood Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eula Coleman.
He is survived by one daughter, Phyllis Cox of Washburn; one son, John Coleman of Fort Smith; two sisters, Georgia Doyel of Ozark and Dorothy White of Fort Smith; one grandchild, and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, August 10 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Liberty Cemetery. Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Pallbearers will be William Coleman, Danny Combs, George Don Combs, Tommy White, Jeff White and Landy Doyel, Jr.
