I only met John about 2 years ago, but times with him were fun. He was so smart, a mastermind and a jack of all trades. He sure could crack some funny jokes. He was an amazing friend to all who knew him. He loved his babies and he always had a smile on his face. I know the world is never going to be the same without him. He will definitely be missed by so many people. He is so loved. Until we meet again, may you rest easy and peacefully, my friend. 
Praying for his family for peace and comfort during this difficult time also. 

This has been so hard on so many of us. You will always be with us and right by our side. You have been a huge part of so many people including myself life's. I have learned so much from you and enjoyed every moment of it. Everything you built or made amazed me and so many others in so many ways. I will cherish every wise word and idea and gather many more to tell you when I see you again. You will be greatly missed so much by so many. Please tell Starla, My Granny, Dalton, and so many more that are there with you not to worry because we got it down here. Go rest on that mountain until we meet again. I love and miss you always.

You may have never been my step father by law but you defenitly in my heart. The way you came to love my mother you also loved my sister and I as your own. I knew no matter what if i need I could call you and you would help me. You were another father to me. And losing you has caused a hole in my heart. Im so glad God gifted me to know you. Mr. Hayes is survived by two sons, John T. Hays and Jason Lee Hayes; one daughter, Joye Lynn Hayes; two brothers, Sidney Hayes and Richard Hayes; his mother, Joye Hayes and two grandchildren.
