John Fred Miller

February 7, 1964April 25, 2021

John Fred Miller, aka John the Painter, 57, of Hackett, Arkansas went to rejoice with the Lord on Sunday April 25, 2021. He was born to Master Sargent Darrel and Phyllis Miller in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. He is preceded in death by his beloved father, Master Sargent Darrel Miller, sister, Cindy Miller and mother in law, Dorothy Weber. He is survived by his wife of almost 25 years, Melanie Ann Miller; his mother, Phyllis Ann Miller; his son, Joshua Miller and wife, Melissa and their children, Mason and Morgan; his son, Master Sargent Trevor Miller and wife, Amanda and their children, Bentley, Payton, Scarlett and Oliver; his daughter Avery Gray and husband, Joshua and their son, Malachi; his brother, Darrel Miller and wife, Paula and his sister, Michelle Hardman and husband, Larry.

He leaves behind a legacy of jokes, laughter, and an undeniable presence that will be greatly missed among family and friends. He was known best as “John the Painter” as he made his name as a successful painter in the Northwest Arkansas area. He could be seen at any given time in either all white painters garb or typically his all black biker attire. John left a lasting impression on all those he came across and was sure to put a smile on your face and a laugh in your heart. The world will not be the same without his charismatic soul.

Please join us in celebrating his life at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 29 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

To the family and friends of John Miller, sincere condolences to every one of you. May you have peace and comfort and may the words of Jesus Christ bring you such comfort that they help you navigate this new phase in your lives, that of being without John the Painter. These are the words spoken by Jesus Christ. "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.....". These words continue to inspire hope in the future for the families of our dead loved ones. May they do the same for you as well. Once again, sincere condolences.
Kind regards
Yvette del Pino
