Josephine Ruth “Jo” Johnson, 92, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Saturday, September 21, 2024 in her home. She was retired from First National Bank and a member of the Greenwood Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son, William Johnson and wife, Nuraeni of Greenwood; one daughter, Jean Foster of Fort Smith; a daughter-in-law, Violet Johnson of Greenwood; five grandchildren, Josephine Nuraeni Johnson, Michael Foster, Cindy Cook, Stephen Johnson and Amelia Wheeler and multiple great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sons, Robert Wayne Johnson, Thomas Edward Johnson and John Harold Johnson.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, September 26 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
