Denise, Allison, Mitchell & Jacob,
You are in my heart & prayers as you navigate thru this difficult time of sorrow losing a husband, father, sister-in-law & aunt. Rely on your faith in God & the wonderful memories.
I will always be grateful that Judy hired and gave me the opportunity to work for the library system. I learned so much – from processing books, inter library loan, front desk check in-out, Summer Reading, State Library Meetings, to becoming the administrative assistant. I learned something new every day!
On a personal note, we shared much about our families. Denise you were so special to Judy. She always spoke so fondly of you & was always excited to see you when she was going to Missouri for her visits. I know she had recipes & crafts ready to share! Allison, Mitchell & Jacob, you were the apple of her eye! When you kiddos got married & began have your own children, she would share photos of your sweet babies. I believe all of you were constantly on her mind and definitely in her heart.
Judy loved to do many types of crafting and did them quite well! Many of us have been the recipient of these handmade items. She also loved to cook and has shared many tasty recipes. Remember the Library Cookbook? She was an organizer! Her organizational skills were apparent in the things she did for Scott Sebastian Regional Library and the State Library Committees that she served on.
Judy helped me with planning d’oeuvres for a wedding event. She found recipes, prepared & beautifully displayed this food for the guests to enjoy. I will post of picture of her behind the scenes. I do not have many pictures of her as she tended to be behind the camera!
You could not find a more devoted OU (Boomer Sooner) or Kansas City Chief fan! 
Judy’s life was poured in the Scott Sebastian Reginal Library as she served her community.

Friendship has no boundaries or timeframes. 
I first met Judy in 1971 at the University of Oklahoma. We were enrolled in the school of library science masters program and lived on the graduate floor of Walker Tower and had student tickets. Judy  was already a fan before she came to OU even though she was from Missouri. I was from Oklahoma and about all I knew was who Steve Owens was. My roommate’s brother was on the football team and that helped me become a fan. 
Judy’s job was in Greenwood AR and mine in Warner OK, so interstate 40 provided the route to many ballgames through the years. 
Rest in peace, Judy Beth. Boomer Sooner!

Friends of the Sebastian County Public Library

 A memorial service will be held at a later date in Missouri.

Survivors include a sister-in-law, Denise Clevenger of Trimble, MO, a niece, Allison (John) Otte of Kansas City, MO and two nephews, Mitchell (Sarah) Clevenger of Elkhorn, NE and Jacob (Sarah) Clevenger of Smithville, MO. She also leaves behind a great nephew, Max Otte and great nieces, Samantha Otte, Kennedy Clevenger, Millie Otte, Lincoln Clevenger, Sloan Clevenger and Maren Clevenger.
