

Julius Gene Dugan, 77 of Jenny Lind, Arkansas passed away Thursday, June 26, 2014 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was a retired industrial steel worker, member of Rose Garden Full Gospel Church and a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Rose Garden Full Gospel Church in Jenny Lind with burial at Oakland Cemetery in Poteau under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 p.m.
He is survived by five sons, Robert Eugene Dugan, Sr. of Jenny Lind, James Earl Dugan of Albany, Maine, Robert Alton Cook of Napa, CA, Ronald Andrew Cook of Vallejo, CA and David Wayne Metz of Bakersfield, CA; four daughters, Cheryl Ann Neumiller of Turlock, CA, Lynda Joyce Babbitt of Van Buren, Julia Gayle Blackwell of Reno, NV and Jeannie Ilene Logan of Fort Smith; three brothers, Jurden Dugan, Sr. of Alma, Jerry Dugan of Valencia, CA and Jack Dugan, Sr. of Sprio, OK; one sister, Goldie Fern Kroeker of Jenny Lind; twenty-two grandchildren and Thirty four great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jack Dugan, Sr., Jerry Dugan, Robert Dugan, Sr., James Dugan, Jason Blackwell, Jessie Dugan Jr., Daniel O’Callaghan and Aaron Parham.
