On October 4, 1963, Karren was born a fighter. One of the strongest women to ever walk this Earth. Through all trials and tribulations, she held her faith and knew her God would see her through. She survived breast cancer two times and many other illnesses throughout her life. Her whole world was her family and church family. She lived for taking care of others. She loved her kids and grandchildren beyond measure.
Karren was a faithful servant at Greenwood Church of the Nazarene. Her calling was to serve with the church and she enjoyed helping anyone in need. She also started the Breast Cancer Awareness Day in Greenwood. She was retired from Mercy hospital.
Karren is survived by her best friend and husband, Roger Howard; son, Joseph Strozier and wife, Angel of Huntington, AR; daughter, Misty Reynolds and husband, Matthew of Greenwood, AR; her pride and joys, Danielle Stephens, Henry Strozier, Jonathan Stephens, Dylan Strozier and Harlee Reynolds; one great granddaughter, Georgia Strozier; her parents, Karren Kay and Rueben Strozier of Greenwood; her siblings, Jeannie Campbell, Kenneth Burris and Mylissa and many nieces, nephews and honorary children and grandchildren, who she loved the same as her own.
Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Friday, May 6 at Ramsey Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Visitation will be Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Josh Gordon, Henry Strozier, Jonathan Stephens, Dylan Strozier, Joseph Strozier and Matthew Reynolds.
