Katherine Albright, 73, of Fort Smith Arkansas, passed away on Monday, October in her home. She was a graduate of St. Joseph School of Nursing, in a Joliet, Illinois and worked as a NICU nurse of 30 years at St. John Hospital in Springfield, MO. After moving to Ft. Smith Arkansas, she worked 5 years at Mercy Hospital as a NICU nurse, before retirement. Kathrine was of Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Shirley Albright of Reed Springs, MO. She is survived by two beloved sisters, JoAnn Clevenger of Kimberling City, MO and Carol Ragle of Greenwood, Arkansas. She was the favorite aunt to Brian Mooney and sons, Austin and Dillion Mooney of Lampe, MO; DeAnn and Rick Swanson and children, Ciera and Shelby Simon of Kimberling City, MO; Kelly and Sean Pender and children, Tristan, Connor, Ethan, and Chloe of Florida; Elizabeth and Tom Davidson and sons Carter, and Owen of Greenwood Arkansas and Stephen Ragle of Seattle Washington.
There will be a private celebration of life at a later date with family.
Arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas.
She was the best big sister ever. She never met a snowman she didn't love!
