Kimberly Kay Shipley

Kimberly Kay Shipley, 61, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Saturday, August 8, 2026 in her home. She was born August 25, 1964 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to David Lee and Judy Ann (Echols) Wasson. She was retired from Greenwood Schools and a member of God’s House of Prayer.

She is survived by her husband, Edward Shipley; two sons, Logan and wife, Abi and Scott Shipley all of the home; two daughters, Tiffany Dandron of Van Buren and Brittany Copeland of Van Buren; one brother, Rod Wasson and seven grandchildren, Kayden, Desarae, Kaydence, Hunter, Landon, Journee and Elijah. She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Judy Wasson and her daughter, Terri Dean.

A memorial service will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, August 13 at McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood with inurnment at Greenwood Memorial Cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers will be Kayden Lockhart, Logan Shipley, Scott Shipley, Jake Rojas, Chris Gann and Hunter Dean.
