

Larry Wayne Rhine, 73, of Hackett, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in a Fort Smith hospital. He was born to Willard and Wilma Rhine on June 15, 1943 in Winterset, Iowa. He proudly served in the Navy as a Seabee. Larry worked for National Cash Register, Beckman Brothers, Inc. and retired from Ferguson Plumbing Supply in Des Moines, Iowa. Upon retirement he moved to Arkansas where he enjoyed fishing and woodworking. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a twin brother, Jerry Rhine, a sister, Betty Rhine Poland and a brother, Jim Rhine.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m.,Saturday, November 12 at Jenny Lind First Baptist Church with interment at Ramsey Cemetery ,New Hope and Reeves Road in Hackett under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be 9 a.m. Saturday, prior to the service, where the family will visit with friends at this time.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Welsh Rhine; a son, Bradley Rhine of Griswold, Iowa; a daughter, Debbie Rhine Miller (Tim) of Hackett and a sister, Jean Rhine Vandewater (Joe) of Greenfield, Iowa.
