Lloyd, his mom, his mom's dad (GPA) and his daughter, 4 generations. You are forever in our hearts, we think of you often, knowing you're in heaven watching over all of us.

He was super brilliant, he could fix anything, rebuild anything and build most things from scratch. I miss his brilliance, he will forever be my first love and our little girl's daddy.

I considered Lloyd my best friend in high school.  If it had been socially correct, I would have asked Lloyd to stand up with me at my wedding.  But he probably wouldn't have wanted to do that.  He didn't like to be the center of attention.  Lloyd was my buddy and I was his. I think we were just two lonely, awkward people who found a friend in one another.  We could be honest with one another, blunt even.  I appreciated that so much, no games, no beating around the bush.  I've never been good at social games and with Lloyd I didn't have to be.  He was a safe place for me in that scary, lonely place of adolescence.  We understood each other.  What a gift he was to me. I thank God for him. I pray for God's comfort and peace for his family and for his friends.

So sorry to hear of Lloyd's passing. I have not seen him since we graduated high school, but have had the privilege of his friendship in high school and played football with. He was a good friend and was not afraid to take chances and sometimes was a bit mischievous. My prayers go out to all his family.

I have not got to see Lloyd since I have been out of school. But we had some good laughs back in the day. Lloyd was a true friend an I will miss him more than words can say. May God take him into his arms an welcome him home an one day I will see my dear friend again. An May God confront his family an bring a peace to there lives knowing one day they will be together again. I will miss you dear friend but you will not be forgotten. God Bless

He was a good man, a wonderful 1st Love, so, so smart, he could fix anything, loved rebuilding old mustangs, always a project going, taught me all I know about auto's. He was very artistic as well, made hand made pottery, could build anything from wood, was very athletic.  So many wonderful memories, I still see that devilish, all knowing smile every time I think of him, he had a great Smile.... He will be missed by so many.

To all, I ask for your prayers, for the Family, for my Girl, for myself, for all those hurting by his loss....and I ask that you take the time to Love, Love, Love, Live & appreciate all life has to offer, because LIFE is too SHORT. 

Update: The Family buried him at Mount Harmony Cemetery in Greenwood, between his grandparents, headstone is being prepared.

I used to be neighbors with Lloyd.  We lived out in the country and the Sterling-Campbell boys were our closest neighbors as well as friends and Lloyd was also my classmate. I don't think I had even seen him since we left high school and often wondered what he had accomplished in his life. We just kinda lose touch with our friends thru the years and this is not how I wanted to hear about him.  He was always a very caring fun guy and I hate that another classmate has left us way to early.  I will be keeping all the family in prayer, I know this is so hard on everyone.God bless you and be with you at this terrible time and praying for strenth and comfort as you face the days ahead.

Lloyd had the brain of a genius, I have never met anyone in my life that even compared to his talent. I am proud to call him one of my favorite people to work with. Melissa & I got tickled at how badly we could scare him. He would get all beside himself, that's what made him special, his wit, his kindness, his ability, his  knowledge...to all of us. May God put his arms around your family and bring you comfort. We have all lost someone very special. God Bless You All

Lloyd was a good hearted person and a very talented individual. I have always thought of him as family and he will be greatly missed.  We loved him.
