Lois was the best neighbor and loving person. She always treated our daughter Kirsti like a special granddaughter and they had wonderful visits most days. On a humorous note, our dogs “belonged” to her too. On many occasions we had to beg them to come home. We miss her and are glad she was part of our life.

I worked with Harold for many years and became friends with Lois also. She was a very sweet southern lady, and her Husband adored her. I had the honor of helping her when Harold was so ill and she needed a friend to help her with transport to and from the hospital, and someone to talk to when she was alone before their children were able to make the trip home to help her. She was a wonderful lady and cared so very deeply for her family. She will be missed, but know she is reunited with her love and they are together once again.

I met this sweet lady a couple of years ago through my friend, her son, Michael Lee. Sons and moms frustrate each other at times so I made sure I gave Miss Lois as much ammunition as possible to use on Mike. What are friends for right?

She was very sweet to me always and I did love her as my momma has been gone for awhile. So she was a perfect stand in mom!

Michael, your a good good son. You kept going no matter what it took or how good or bad you were feeling. You took wonderful care of her and I know you and the love and care you gave was appreciated.

Joey, during the short time we’ve known each other you exemplified what not a friend but I’d say a sister should be. Anyone would be lucky to have you as their sister & partner in crime over the years, so I’ve heard. I won’t say who... But Lois was fortunate to have you and you her. What a pair!

Karen & I send our love to the Caverly’s and Daniels families.

Forty-one years ago I became friends with a beautiful lady with a sweet Southern drawl and in 1998, she became my official Sister-in-law. So many laughs, so much time spent together and so much love. Those years surely flew by too fast. I miss her so much already, but I know she's celebrating with the rest of the family and I know she and Momma are sharing the perfect garden they always wanted. See you soon sweetheart. I miss you.

I am sorry to hear about Lois. She was a beautiful and elegant lady. I worked with Harold for many years and had the privilege of knowing her.
