Lois Elmore, 76, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Thursday, August 15, 2024. She was a teacher’s aid specifically for handicapped students in the Greenwood School District and attended Huntington Community Church.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Charles Elmore; daughter Tanya Bivins and husband, Michael of Greenwood; two grandsons, Caleb and Chris Bivins and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Michael Elmore and two sisters, Joyce Tankersley and Barbara Webb.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 20 at Huntington Community Church with burial at Dawson Cemetery in Milltown under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood. Viewing will be Monday at the funeral home from 1-7 p.m. where the family will visit with friends from 5-7 p.m.
Pallbearers will be Deebrian Tankersley, Zach Cantrell, Christian Palmer, Caleb Bivins, Chris Bivins and Don Elmore. Honorary pallbearers are Randall Elmore, Bryson Elmore, Earl Oxford, Stan Bolding, and Jason Oxford.
