Loretta Sanders, 67, of Midland, Arkansas passed away Sunday, September 13, 2026 in her home. She was born July 31, 1959 in Huntington, Arkansas to Carl Gilbert and Lucille (Barnes) McCoy. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.
She is survived by her husband, David Sanders; one son, David Lee Sanders and wife, Lacey; one daughter, Kristy Michelle Thornsberry and husband, Brian; one brother, Farriel McCoy and wife, Glenda; three sisters, Sue McAllister, Marie Crandell and Gretchen Bascue and husband, Billy Jack; four grandchildren, Ashley Thornsberry, Justin Thornsberry, Hannah Thornsberry and Konnor Sanders. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry McCoy and two sisters, Ann McCoy and Kay Brewer.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Friday, September 18 at Alma Full Gospel Outreach Church with burial at Earl Crandell Cemetery in Mulberry under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be before the service on Friday at the church.
Pallbearers will be David Sanders, Konnor Sanders, Brian Thornsberry, Justin Thornsberry, William Goines, Sherman Goines and Andy McCoy. Honorary pallbearer will be Colton Bascue.
