Louise was a Baptist by faith and was a long-time member of the Phoenix Village and Fianna Hills Baptist Churches. Her profession was a Licensed Practical Nurse working primarily in Labor and Delivery and the newborn nursery. Unable to completely retire, however, she worked another 8 years as a Wal-Mart Door Greeter where she made many new friends. She enjoyed the outdoors by camping, gardening, raising flowers, and creating beautiful landscapes for all to enjoy. Her happiest times were spent when family would visit her “Little House,” high above Lake Tenkiller. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly.
A graveside service for family and close friends is being held at the Shady Point Cemetery in Shady Point, Oklahoma at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 4. The Reverend George Barham will officiate. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care and direction of McConnell Funeral Home, 137 North Main Street, Greenwood, AR 72936.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Terry and Nathan Baker, David Witcher, and her great grandsons, Jackson, Isaac and Ryder Baker and Cody and Cole Struchtemeyer.
