Lula May (Pamplin) Limongello, also known as Momma Lou, passed away on May 20, 2024, at the age of 92, in Woodbridge, New Jersey. She was born on December 5, 1931, on a farm in Greenwood, Arkansas to James and Nora Pamplin. Circumstances arose causing her to spend the ages of 8 through her teens at the Children's Home in Fort Smith, AR.
Lula May was a beloved southern bell who spent over 50 years as a Registered Nurse in the operating room. She was known for her love of dancing, socializing, phone chats, and visits with friends and family, all guided by her strong Christian beliefs.
Lula May is survived by her children Teresa Zappia, Karen and husband Domenick Carnevale, Nancy Lauchaire and Michael Crowe, John and wife Stephynia Limongello, her nephew Robert Lackie and husband John Pfannes, 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, and many other family members and wonderful friends who will miss her dearly.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 25 at Gosselin Funeral Home in New Jersey. She will then be laid to rest back home in Arkansas at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 31 under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.

Lula May Limongello's vibrant spirit, love for the Lord and her family, awesome eggplant parmesan cooking skills, and dedication to her career as a nurse will always be cherished and remembered by those whose lives she touched. She will live in our hearts forever.
