Luther Seals, 87, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Saturday, September 5, 2026 in his home. Luther was born October 30, 1938 in Ozone, Arkansas to Ulysses and Willa (Neal) Grant. He was retired from Whirlpool, a devout Christian and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Seals and Charles Seals and wife, Misty; one daughter, Felicia Gay Mumbower; one brother, Gerald Seals; one sister, Evelyn Hales and three grandchildren, Carter Seals, Mackenzie McKeown and Colin McKeown. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virgie Marie Seals, one brother, Ulysses Seals and three sisters, Pansy Thompson, Hazel Step and Louisa Seals..
A family gathering will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, September 10 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Dawson Cemetery.
