

Mancel Earl Crenshaw, Jr., 60, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2015, in Greenwood. He was born June 20, 1955 in El Dorado, Kansas to the late Mancel Crenshaw, Sr. and Caroline (Poteete) Crenshaw.
Mancel was a retired self-employed contractor, a Christian, and a supporter of the International Rett Syndrome Foundation where he spent tireless hours researching on behalf of his granddaughter, Alyssa.
He is survived by his wife of the home, Donna Jean Crenshaw; three daughters, Donna Marie Passmore (Bob) of Greenwood, Amanda Deppner (Stephen) of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and Ellen Martin (James) of Palmer, Iowa; two sons, Mancel “Sonny” Crenshaw, III (Crystal) of Rogers, Arkansas and Jared Crenshaw of Greenwood; five grandchildren, Alyssa Crenshaw of the home, Mancel “Manny” Crenshaw, IV and Easton Crenshaw of Rogers, Arkansas, Shelby Crenshaw of Texarkana, Texas, and April Martin of Palmer, Iowa; three sisters, Faye Jones of Ashdown, Arkansas, Peggy Keaton of Ashdown, Arkansas, and Eileen Green of Greenwood; and countless Facebook friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Coltyne Crenshaw.
A memorial service will be held Monday, October 5, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. at McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, Arkansas. Bro. Clarence Green will be officiating. A private burial of the cremains will be held on a later date. The family will visit with friends from 9 – 10 a.m. at the funeral home before the service.
