Margaret Belle Jones, 93, of Fort Smith, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2013. Margaret was a long-time member of the Central Christian Church in Fort Smith. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a great friend to many. Positive and fun-loving, she was happiest when she could make someone laugh. Her caring spirit was a blessing to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Jones.
She is survived by her children Phillip Jones and Donna Davis as well as her son-in law Joe Davis, granddaughter Gwynne Davis, grandson Joseph, his wife Erica, and great granddaughter Emery.
Services will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Liberty Cemetery. State Room hours will be 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
