Marilyn Louise Goldsmith

Marilyn Louise Goldsmith, 74, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away Friday, September 11, 2026 in her home. She was born May 31, 1952 in Ventura, California to James Lonan and Vola Loretta (Barnard) Finney. Marilyn was a retired teacher’s aide and bus driver for Greenwood Public Schools and member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Booneville.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda McCauley and husband, Jarrod of Fort Smith; one son, Matthew Goldsmith of Booneville; one brother, Eddie Finney of Booneville; four grandchildren, Callie Layton and husband, Zach of Fort Smith, Abbie Keeton and Brallie Keeton of Charleston and Destinie McCauley of Fort Smith and one great grandchild, Guinevere Layton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Goldsmith.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Inurnment will be at Dawson Cemetery in Milltown.
