Mary Hoff Fitzhugh, 87, of Witcherville, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2013 in Fort Smith. She was born July 12, 1925 in Hays, Kansas to Frank and Maye Hoff. She was a homemaker, gardener, raised cattle on the family farm and worked for a number of years at Fort Chaffee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Fitzhugh, a brother, Francis Hoff and a sister, Ruth Hoff Meis.
She is survived by a son, Darrell Fitzhugh and wife, Connie; a daughter, Theresa Fitzhugh Whiley and husband, Jimmy; a grandson and three great grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m., Monday, January 28 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Lovelace Cemetery in Witcherville. Viewing will be Sunday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 3 – 4 p.m.
