Mary L. Goines

Mary L. Goines was born September 24, 1947 on Blackjack Mountain, near Abbott, Arkansas to Lowell and Dorothy Green. She passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018 in a Fort Smith hospital. Mary spent most of her life working alongside her husband, Larry, as the bookkeeper of Goines Concrete Company, but most importantly, she was a wife, mother, and MeMe. She was a long time and faithful member of Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church near Mansfield.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Jimmy Green. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Larry Goines; two daughters, Lisa Henson and husband, Jason of Greenwood and Julie Dunn and husband, Chris of Dayton; two brothers, Joe Green and wife, Jane and John Green; one sister, Martha Sue McKay and husband, Robert; five grandchildren, Holly, Haley and Haden Henson, Emily and Mary Dunn and many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Monday, November 12 at the McConnell Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Union Ridge Cemetery. Viewing and visitation will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends.
