Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 27 at Midland First Baptist Church with burial at Mount Olive Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Monday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.
She is survived by two sons, Gene Mort and wife, Rita of Mansfield and Mike Mort and wife, Jane
Ann of Holly Lake, TX; three brothers, Harold Gene Michael of Fort Smith, Homer Michael, Jr. of Midland and Delmer Michael of Hartford; one sister, Patty Thornburg of Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Christopher Mort, Crystal Mort, Michelle Wilburn, Ryan Mort and Paul Bruce Mort and seven great grandchildren, Blake, Rileigh, Jayce, Caroline, Collins, Reed and Charlie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vyron Mort.
