

Mary Elizabeth Smith came into this world, October 2, 1951 in Greenwood, Arkansas to Truman and Nancy Seamans and left this world Friday, March 16, 2012, at her home in Hackett, Arkansas surrounded by family and friends. She is met in heaven by her parents, a grandson, Kyle Smith and stepmother, Janet Seamans. Mary was a press operator at Rheem Manufacturing in Fort Smith and was employed at the L & J Drive-in Restaurant in Greenwood for many years which she eventually owned and operated.
Memorial service will be at 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 21, 2012 at the Hackett First Baptist Church. McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood is in charge of cremation arrangements.
Mary is survived by her husband, Charles, of the home; a son, Brandon Smith and wife, Amy, of Greenwood; two daughters, Ronda Christenberry of the Abbott Community and Ginger Wallace and husband, Roy, of Hackett; a brother, Tony Seamans and wife, Gwen of the White Bluff Community; seven sisters, Pam Dover of Greenwood, Becky Rainwater and husband, Roger, of Greenwood, Bridgett Moore and husband, Darrell, of Hackett, Judy Moran and husband, Dwight, of Greenwood, Ann Wilkerson and husband, Steve, of Fort Smith, Sharon Matlock and husband, Jim, of Hackett, and Barbara Carter and husband, Randy, of Fort Smith; and nine grandchildren, Trent Wallace and wife, Jessica, Corie Seabolt, Lindsay Burner and husband, Grant, Amanda Davis, Skylar Seabolt, Casandra Davis, Elizabeth Smith, Ty Smith, and Ryleigh Smith.
