Sorry for your great  loss.  All was blessed to have Mary so many years.

My mom met my dad and married him when she was 16 years old and he was 20 years old. They were married in a strawberry patch. Mom wore a yellow dress. Mom was a hard worker. She worked for the area agency since 1979 up until she was 65 years old. She worked many years for the Area Agency on Aging. She also worked at the Hartford Senior Citizen Center as a cook and bus driver. Mom worked to keep her property clear She cut brush on 22 acres. Mom and dad busted up rocks, cut brush, mowed the lawn and cleared the hillside behind their house by hand. We had the best lawn in the Hartford/Mansfield area on 86 Hartford road, now Frazier Road. Mom's garden provided food and income for the family. She also cleaned houses for people in Hartford and Mansfield, Ar. Mom cleaned dishes by hand and cooked for us everyday. She cooked breakfast ,lunch, and dinner for dad and her children every day. She washed clothes by ringer washer for years and dried them on the clothesline. Mom washed dad's clothes. Mom took care of dad when he got Alzheimer's disease up until the end in 1-1-2015. When dad died. Mom loved dad and he loved her more. Mom married Duane Williams two years later in 2017, and they shared 6 1/2 happy years together. Mom died suddenly of a massive Heart Attack in her home on October 18, 2023. Mom was a faithful member the Church of Christ, first at the Mansfield Church of Christ then at the Highway 45 Church of Christ at Midland for decades until 2013 when that small church closed. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Mary! I used to deliver lunch to her and Duane when I drove the van for the Hartford Senior Center.  She was the sweetest lady!! Me and my husband, Al send our most sincere, heartfelt condolences to her family and friends. May God comfort you all and wrap His Loving Arms around you during this difficult time. Again, I am so sorry!

Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Duane Williams; three sons, Arnold Elmore and wife, Rhonda of Huntington, Bobby Elmore and wife, Amber of Huntington and Barry Elmore and wife, Melinda of Hartford; four daughters, Donna Thomas of Huntington, Linda Harris of Huntington, Marilyn Young and husband, Roger of Huntington and Connie Cialone and husband, Ernest of Fort Smith; three brothers, Joe, Tommy and David Gish; four sisters, Frances, Joyce and Oval Lee; fourteen grandchildren and twenty-five great grandchildren.
