Melissa J. Maiorelle, 52, of Greenwood, and longtime resident of Alaska, lost her battle with cancer April 23, 2012. She was born December 17, 1959 in Little Rock. She was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted friend, and will be greatly missed by all.
Survivors include one daughter Susan Fugatt and husband, Jeffrey; two grandchildren, Lane and Ryan, and one great-granddaughter on the way, all of Greenwood. She is also survived by one two sisters, Paula Maines of Springdale and Sue Hill of Vilonia; one brother, Raymond Morgan, Jr. of North Little Rock, and other numerous family and friends. The family would like to add a special thanks to Peachtree Hospice.
Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 28 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood.
