Michael Alan Crabtree was born May 10, 1951, in Delano, CA and parted this earth August 31, 2026, leaving behind a legacy rooted in his faith, his country, and his deep love for his family. A man who truly appreciated the finer things in life, he had an eye for quality—whether admiring antique treasures, dressing sharply, or taking pride in every small detail.
Above all else, he lived by three core pillars: God, guns, and family. In his younger years, he brought energy and character to everything he touched. He possessed an unmistakable, booming laugh that could carry into the next county, a warmth that could light up a room, and a gift for charm that made an impression on everyone he met.
As health challenges set in, he found solace in the quiet moments of life—piddling in his yard, tending to his surroundings, and cherishing the simple pleasure of working with his hands.
Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Fern Zanyk; his father, Beau Crabtree; and his brother, Mark David Maples. His memory lives on through his beloved children: Michael Todd, Brandon Alan, Cheyenne Marie, Dakota Cole, and Dallas Fern.
He is survived by his sisters, Lynne Thompson of Windsor, California, and Darlene Lueck of Bemidji, Minnesota, as well as his nephews, extended family, and those who held him close to their hearts.
Though his presence will be deeply missed, his family takes comfort in knowing he is at peace, wrapped in the grace of the God he loved.
