Michael Sanders

Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday, November 13, 2015 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Washburn Cemetery. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 8 p.m. at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Sanders; two daughters, Thelena Michele Anderson of Columbia, MO and Angela Hester of Greenwood; two step-daughters, Charity Sanders of Mansfield and Jenna Mead of Lavaca; one son, Michael “Andy” Sanders of Mansfield; three step-sons, Phillip Mead of Hackett, Tommy Elmore and Billy Elmore both of Huntington; one brother, R.W. Sanders of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Phillis Newberry of Waldron and Libby Gipson of Greenwood; eighteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Recil and Ellen Sanders and one brother, Donald Sanders

Pallbearers will be Andy Sanders, Phillip Mead, Colby Elmore, Bradly Anderson, Kameron Delp and Tyler Elmore. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Sanders and Andrew Sanders.
