Mildred Pittman Walker

Funeral service will be 10 am Thursday, November 4 at Midland First Baptist Church with burial at Slaytonville Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Wednesday from 1 – 9 pm at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6 – 8 pm.

She is survived by one son, Lary Walker and wife, Rosie of Midland; six grandchildren, Bryant Walker, Tanya Wilson, Brad Walker, Lori Walker, Scott Walker and Angela Wiggins and thirteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Walker; two sons, Lynn and Gary Walker; one great granddaughter, Paige Walker and two brothers, Milton and Clifford Pittman.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Porter, Jimmy Pittman, Jerry Pittman, Billy Pittman, Greg Pittman, Merrial Pittman, Ray Pittman and Mike Pittman. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Henton, Clarence Holt, George Collins, Bill Williams and Orville Bittle.
