This has been a long time coming. Naomi helped me when no one else would. I never forgot what a wonderful person she was. My life could have gone much differently had she not instilled a sense of duty in doing the right thing and taking pride in doing so, no how difficult.

Aunt Nina, I sure do miss and love you.  There are so many times that I want to pick up the phone and call you.  You left a great impression with me, so loving, kind, thoughtful and generous to a fault to so many people. This September will be 2 years since the departure of Aunt Nina. I wish I could go up and visit the McBride Family and the grave site. With the stroke I can't drive. She said I would always be welcome even after her departure that I was a part of the McBride family in the Fort Smith,Arkansas area. When I would go up for a visit she'd always take me to eat catfish . What a WONDERFUL we would have. She talked about going fishing one day we never got that opportunity. My My My,  I just noticed your Birthday has passed.

It has been 9 months since Aunt Nina departed us. It's can't any more advice from her. She took me in her home for a while. She told me I was a part of the family. I would call her and we would talk for a while. She always said after every conversation I " I LOVE YOU ". I had a stroke in 2009 she helped Debra McBride Koeneman and me make it until things got a little better.  Without her help I don't know what we would have done. Now I can't call her. I was only privileged to meet Aunt Nina one time. I was also able to meet and visit with both Aunt Mildred and Aunt Ella.  I was able to visit with Aunt Nina several times over the phone. She gave me both life and career advice. Her advice was.always right on spot.  I may not have known her long or as well as the rest of you, but she mothered me just like she had helped to raise me. I thank her for that. Rest in eternal peace, Aunt Nina. We will meet again.

I loved Aunt Nina. I will cherish all the memories buried in my heart and will miss knowing she is not with us. In life, we often don't meet a person with such a loving, generous and caring heart. Nina has left each one of us a piece of her legacy and lessens buried in our hearts. We all know what it is because it is special. Aunt Nina is at peace and I know she is with our Lord. I am glad Nina touched my heart.

It's been two weeks ago since Aunt Nina has departed us. She was a remarkable woman. I had a place where I could up and visit this remarkable woman..And now that I got to be a part of this woman's life is a true blessing. We have had our good moments and some bad moments. Before her departure she taught me what love meant. Her way of talking she was trying to teach me things. I will always have a spot in my heart for her and the McBRIDE FAMILY.  MIKE KOENEMAN

Naomi McBride..... Where to begin ?  The LORD has a special place for bueatiful souls who help folks with no need for repayment. There was always an extra place at her dinning room table. Bless her heart, she fed me many many times.... She helped me in many ways both mentally and financially. This world will have a large void now without her.....

I loved Aunt Nina's company.  My earliest memories of Aunt Nina are of fishing and dogs and cats.  What little boy wouldn't want to be with their Aunt Nina every waking moment?  And I loved staying with her so much that I convinced my parents to let me stay a whole summer and then the following school year, in Mansfield.  When visiting with her in Ft. Smith she would take me to work, then fishing, or the park, the swimming pool, or riding bikes and all in the same day.  And then there were teaching moments where she administered punishment.  Punishment was never in the form of a belt or a stick.  It was a stern lesson with loving guidance.  I remember her kindness and have great regard for my Aunt Nina.  I believe that on September 5, 2015, she was told, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.  I will miss her, but I am happy that she has gone on to help do greater things.

I would not be who I am today if not for my Aunt Nina. She named me and with that, she cast her spell on me for an immense love of animals. She was always a very loving and completely selfless soul who touched so many lives! I love you Aunt Nina.

You will truly be missed aunt Nina. I love you so much.

When Aunt Nina and I first met is when I married her niece Debra McBride. She accepted me into her life. as time roll along I would call her about once a week for guidance. Debra and I would would visit her once a year. She always helped others before she's do for herself. She raised so many. When I had my stroke in 2009, Aunt Nina was always there for. I would go up for a visit for weeks at a time. I would get up during the middle of the night, there she'd be in the kitchen reading her BIBLE. We would have a conversation one on one. She always told me the door was always opened for me and now it's closed. The three words she always said to after talking were "I LOVE YOU"! That's the way I'll always remember Aunt Nina. GOD BLESS ALL OF THE McBRIDE FAMILY. MIKE KOENEMAN

Naomi or Aunt Nina as we all called her was a special person. It is rare in this life to meet someone with such a caring heart.  I consider myself blessed to have known her and the world is a darker place without her in it. Our hearts are broken but we rejoice in the fact that she resides with God now. The kids and I will miss you. Love you Aunt Nina.

My heart is so sad that you are gone.  You will be sorely missed by all.  You have been the rock of the family.  It is that you are at peace in Heaven that is comforting.  I look forward to seeing you there.  I remember all the fun things we use to do, and I won't forget them.   May Jesus give everyone peace and comfort since you have gone.   God Bess all.

Naomi was a wonderful person. She will forever remain in my heart. I called her Aunt Nana. She always said she loved me. I told  her the same. She had a love for animals! You will be missed. R.I.P Naomi Elizabeth Mcbride.
