Naomi Ruth Robison was born in Swifton Arkansas on November 28, 1943. She went home to be with the Lord on March 30, 2025. Our hearts are heavy as we reflect on the life of this remarkable individual who has touched so many lives.
She was preceded in death by her father, Velvet Decker, her mother, Ruby Decker and her sister, Carolyn Sue Decker. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jack Robison; four sons, David Robison and wife, Natalie of Cedarville, Mark Robison and wife, Julie of Fort Smith, Jon Robison and wife, Karren of Bloomer and Joey and wife, Erica of Dyer; ten grandchildren, Jessie Aaron, Garrett, Matthew, Keith, Steven, Aryana, Adi, Abbigail, Ammilya, and Kaylee; thirteen great grandchildren and her siblings, Shirley Horne and husband, Al, Katherene Hall and husband, James and Roger Decker and wife, Margaret.
In February of 1961, Naomi married the love of her life, Jack Robison. Together they built a beautiful life filled with 64 years of memories, laughter, and love. Naomi’s unwavering faith and dedication to her family made her a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother.
Naomi lived in the Greenwood area most of her life and was a graduate of Greenwood High School. Even in the latter years of her life she would meet with a few of her classmates. Naomi was a member of Faith Baptist Church, where she played the piano, organ and participated in the choir. She sang and played music with her family all her life. Her faithfulness and servanthood to God made her a valued member to the ministry of the church. She was also the activity director at Pink Bud Nursing Home until her health caused her to retire.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Saturday at Faith Baptist Church in Jenny Lind with burial at Old Jenny Lind Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Friday from 5 – 7 p.m. at Faith Baptist Church.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren.
