Norma Jean (Shelton) Biazo, 90, of Hackett, Arkansas went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 9, 2025. She was born October 25, 1934 to the late Melvin and Flora Shelton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyndell Biazo; two brothers, Paul D. and Warren Shelton; six sisters, Helen Dunn, Lois Neisler, Treva Nell Norried, Ruby McBride, Margaret Farrar and Lorene Bailey and one granddaughter, Dana Blackwell.
Norma resided at Ashton Place in Barling for the last three years. She loved making friends there, playing bingo and winning prizes and boasting about her five generations of family that visited her. Her favorite thing to do, was have coffee with her daughter every morning and then tell her son every night about her day.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Lowder and husband, Ron; one son, Marlin Biazo and spouse, Patty Neal; grandchildren, Eddie Bunton, Anna Ewing and spouse, Jess Bova and Marlin “Marty” Biazo and wife, Fleshia; great grandchildren, Joshua Biazo, Makenna Walkabout, Jaymi Ewing and Katie Ledbetter and great great grandchildren, Leo, JJ, Kayden, Edward, Myles, Kolby and Cody.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m., Friday, June 13 at Hackett First Baptist Church with burial at Mount Zion Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Viewing will be Thursday from 1 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Danny McBride, Lloyd Clark, Darrell Shelton, Allen Shelton, Jim Dunn and Randy Ewing. Honorary pallbearers will be Marlin Biazo, Ron Lowder and Eddie Bunton.
