Norma Sue Black, 72, of Mansfield, Arkansas passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018. She was born in Hartford, Arkansas to Claud and Ida (Lowrey) Hammons. She was a cosmetologist, which she enjoyed for 30 plus years and was a member of Faith Chapel in Hartford.
She was preceded in death by her son, Terry Black, three sisters, Geraldine, Lorene and Melba and three brothers, Willard, Weldon and Don.
The family will hold a memorial service, 10 a.m., Monday, May 21, at Faith Chapel in Hartford. Cremation was under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
She is survived by her husband, Derrick Black of the home; one daughter, Laura Jetton and husband, John of Mansfield; one son, Lance Black of Mansfield; one brother, William Hammons of Wichita, KS; nine grandchildren, five great-grandsons, several nieces and nephews and expecting a great-granddaughter.
