Patsy Buckner

Patsy Buckner, 66, of Fort Smith, died Thursday, March 18, 2010 in her home. Patsy was retired from First National Bank and of the Baptist faith. She is preceded in death by her father, William H. Black, her mother and step-father, Marie and Alvie Clopton, a sister, Kay Lynn Michaels, and her son, Kerry Scott Buckner.

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood, with burial at Coop Prairie Cemetery in Mansfield.

She is survived by her husband of fifty-two years, Jerry of the home; two sons, Jerry Buckner, Jr. of Barling and Chuck Buckner and wife, Lisa of Greenwood; three sisters, Carolyn Smith of Mansfield, Shirley Gillis of Mansfield and Beverly Bonds of Elm Park; six brothers, Buddy Black of Mansfield, Ronnie Black of Mansfield, Randy Black of Mansfield, Chris Clopton of Huntington, Kevin Clopton of Pocola and Tracy Clopton of Keota; seven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Friday, March 19 at the funeral home, where the family will visit with friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be her brothers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Flute, Eric Flute, Michael Gillis, Mark Gillis, Travis Black and Ryan Black.
