Memorial service will be 6:30 p.m., Thursday, August 16 at Hope Fellowship (City Christian Fellowship) in Fort Smith. A family led interment service will be 2 p.m., Friday, August 17 at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith. Cremation was under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy Irwin; one daughter, Rebecca Irene Irwin-Perkins of Florida; one brother, Charles Irwin of Quartz Hill, California; one sister, Mary Barthel of Muskogee, Oklahoma; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Ralph Benton Irwin.
Ralph C. Irwin, 76, of Van Buren, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 in his home. He was an artist and a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
