Rama Jane Martin

Rama Jane Martin, 86, of Greenwood, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026 in Greenwood. She was born April 26, 1940 in Dayton, Arkansas to William Homer and Verna Lee (Cross) Thompson. She was retired from the City of Greenwood Water Department and was a member of Greenwood First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Donald Martin; two daughters, Pam Martin and Vicki McKinney and husband, Anthony; son/grandson, Michael Melton; granddaughter, Tenille Bill and Joel; grandsons, Jacob Cason and Heather, Kizer Sebo and Sierra and Bryan Little and Lucia and eleven great grandchildren, Kameron, Jace, Brice, Tyler, Joseph, Dalton, Paisley, Wyatt, Laramie, Tucker and Hayzen.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Monday, June 8 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood with burial at Gilliam Cemetery. Viewing will be Sunday from 2 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Michael Melton, Jacob Cason, Bryan Little, Tenille Bill, Kizer Sebo, Dalton Cason and Brice Melton.
