Ray Horton Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Yselda Horton; two sons, Sean Horton and wife, Krystal and Ryan Horton and wife, Michelle; his stepfather, Lawrence J. Simmons; three brothers, Edwin Horton and wife, Jane, Curtis Horton and Michael Simmons; two sisters, Tammy Poore and husband, Chris and Rene Stephenson and husband, Jeremy; six grandchildren, Jacob Horton, Yabria Ford, Shiloh Horton, Madison Bare, Rayven Stuart and Aubrey Cowell; three great grandchildren, Ares Horton, Emersyn Cowell and Farrah Ford, 15 nieces and nephews and 25 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cleta (Smith) Simmons.

Viewing will be from 1 – 7 p.m. on Saturday, August 2 at McConnell Funeral Home in Greenwood, where the family will visit with friends from 5 – 7 p.m. The family will have a celebration of life on Sunday starting at 1 p.m. at their home.
