Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 27 at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel in Greenwood. Burial will be 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 28 at Elmwood Cemetery in Woodward, OK.
He is survived by his mother, Nancy Newman of Fort Smith; two daughters, Tammy Brown of Waterproof, LA, and Chas Roe of Woodward, OK; three brothers, Joe Newman and Danny Newman, both of Fort Smith, and Charlie Newman of Shady Point, OK; three sisters, Diane Newman of Fort Smith, Suzie Smith of Central City, and Marilyn Long of Woodward, OK, and three grandchildren, Keyaira Rosson, Hannah Brown, and Landon Brown. He was preceded in death by one son, Richard Newman, Jr.
