Rick was born July 28, 1963, in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a graduate of Bishop Kenny High School class of 1981. He attended Northeastern State University in Oklahoma on a football scholarship. There he met the love of his life, Tammy Shoemake, and they were married for 34 years. Rick had a blessed life even though it ended too soon. He spent much of his professional career as a Lead Fleet Coordinator with Innovative Reasoning. He developed a passion for construction and built much of their dream home at the lake where he and his family, along with friends, enjoyed boating, hunting, fishing, and off-road riding. He was known as a gentle giant, standing strong and tall at 6’5’" but had the most humble heart. Rick was a friend to all, always willing to give an extra hand to help anyone who asked.
He is survived by his wife Tammy Shoemake Stout; two daughters, Amber Stout Rackley and husband, Chase of Van Buren, and Brittney Stout Bane and husband, Robert Keith of Alma; his two beautiful grandchildren, Andrew Maddox and Kirby Nicole; his mother, Evelyn Williams Stout; his sister, Catherine Stout Fenner and husband, Matt; two nieces Erica Allison and Cameron Fenner, all of Jacksonville, Florida; mother and father-in-law, Roy and Linda Shoemake of Pocola, and special aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Stout of Jacksonville, Florida.
