Robert "Bob" Oliver Goldsmith

Robert “Bob” Oliver Goldsmith, 88, of Hackett, Arkansas went to be with his Lord on Saturday, August 14, 2021. Bob was a retired electrical/professional engineer, active cattleman and active member and deacon of Rock Island Community Church.

Bob is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Kathy; son, Andy Goldsmith and wife, Hedwig of Hackett; daughter, Doris Ryan and husband, Steve of Hackett; daughter, Pam Fox and husband, Tim of Hackett; son, Rock Goldsmith of Hackett; 8 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Bob was a family man extraordinaire and imparted tremendous wisdom to all those blessed by his presence on this earth.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., Thursday, August 19 at Rock Island Community Free Will Baptist Church with interment at Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood. Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Goldsmith, Clint Gann, Cody Gann, Justin Martin, Clint Wood and Joshua Fox.
