

Keith Brown, 77 of Mansfield, Arkansas passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 in his home. He served as an Oklahoma City police officer for over 25 years, where he served in the canine and communications division and as a motorcycle officer.
He was a member of the Mrytle Lodge, Unit #145. He did much work for the masonic order, obtaining the honor of 33 degree Mason. He was a member of the Scottish Rite of Guthrie, Oklahoma. He performed in many degrees of the Scottish Rite. He further served the community through his involvement with Shriners International. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He played the trumpet for the U.S. Army Officer’s Club. He coached general championship softball teams for the Oklahoma City Police Department.
Memorial service will be 10 a.m., Friday, January 23, 2015 at the U.S. National Cemetery under the direction of McConnell Funeral Home of Greenwood.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Brown; three sons, Ronald Del Brown, David Mayo and wife, Mary and Daniel Mayo and wife, April; three daughters, Jonni Hensley and husband, Charles Latta, Lauri Melvin and Samantha Buffo and husband, Anthony; one brother, Rev. Edward Brown and wife, Cathy; one sister, Hazel Cossey and husband, Darrel and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
