My heart is heavy. Ronnie was around my house so much growing up that I felt like he was another brother. He was one of the kindest and most gentle people I have ever known. His smile will be forever imprinted on my heart. Praying for peace for his family. I have absolutely no doubt that Ronnie is sitting in paradise.

Ron 'Big Dog', Steve, Wendy & family:

My heart and prayers go out to all of you in this difficult time.

Some of my fondest memories of my young adulthood were at your home in Lavaca when it was just all the 'menfolk.' There was always lots of laughter, NASCAR, and plenty of testosterone. I will always remember Ronnie's kind spirit, sincere smiles, and bright and gentle eyes. When he was outdoors or doing other activities he had a passion for, he seemed to have the peace that he searched for. Our conversations revolved around philosophy, culture, and life, the things that confused us and what we adored.
Our friendship was brief, but left an eternal impression in my life.

I send my deepest regards to you and wish I could have paid respects in person.
Rest in peace, Ronnie and may you all receive the peace and healing that only time can bring.
